We are recruiting volunteer counselors for our upcoming 2022 CommuniCamp™ Intensive Group Treatment and Parent Training Programs for Selective Mutism! CommuniCamp™ is a 3+ day intensive group treatment program for children and teens ages 3-17 with Selective Mutism (SM), Social Communication Anxiety, and Extreme Shyness. Held in Jenkintown, PA (Greater Philadelphia Area), this program is based on Dr. Elisa Shipon-Blum’s evidence-based Social Communication Anxiety Treatment® (S-CAT®) model. Counselors will receive live, hands-on S-CAT® training and experience working with children and/or teens with SM.

Criteria
- Licensed Mental Health professional and/or therapist (psychologists, social workers etc., including art and music therapists)
- Licensed Speech and Language Therapist or Occupational Therapist
- Doctoral or Master’s-level students in any of the specialties listed above (mist be enrolled and actively taking courses)
- Educator
- College seniors majoring in Psychology or related fields and interested in working with children. Must have direct experience working with children.
Requirements
- Complete web-based training
- Attend an on-site training the day before the program (10:00am – 4:00pm)
- Attend the pre-camp Orientation with patients and their families the evening before the program (4:30pm – 8:30pm)
- Attend CommuniCamp in its entirety (8:00am – 3:30pm daily)
- Provide copies of all required clearances (PA Child Abuse History Clearance, PA Criminal History Record & FBI Background Clearance)
Expectations
- Be prepared to work with 3-17-year-old children who struggle with SM, social anxiety etc.
- Report directly to Head Counselor
- Complete daily progress notes for 2-3 children
- Arrive on-time and remain on-site for the duration of the program
- Follow the dress code and behave in a professional manner
- Bring individuality and tons of energy. Be ready to have fun!

Support Coordinator/Administrative Assistant
Be the first point of contact for our families to welcome them to our practice and coordinate their continued treatment care through in-person, telephone, and web-conferencing consultations. Perform a range of administrative and office support activities to facilitate the efficient and cohesive operation of the center. Must enjoy communicating by phone with people.

Responsibilities
- Answer inbound phone calls from parents, school staff, and treating professionals
- Assist with center email correspondence (e.g. current patients scheduling, billing, and support requests)
- Schedule & coordinate patient appointments, meetings
- Process service payments and receipts
- Welcome and guide patients, families, and visitors in office
- Maintain a tidy inviting waiting room
- General clerical duties including photocopying, fax and mailing
- Maintain electronic and hard copy filing system
- Prepare and modify documents including correspondence, reports, drafts, memos, and emails
- Record, compile, transcribe and distribute minutes of meetings
- Open, sort, and distribute incoming correspondence
- Maintain office supply inventories
- Coordinate maintenance of office equipment
Education and Experience
- Three years minimum clerical/administrative experience in a fast-paced environment
- Customer service experience by telephone and in person
- Bachelor’s degree, ideally in related field (e.g. Psychology)
- Experience with Microsoft office products
- Healthcare experience preferred
- Sales experience (inbound & outbound/outreach) a plus
- Experience with Keap CRM a plus
- Experience with social media and marketing a plus

Hours
- Full Time position 40 hours per week
- 11:30am to 8:00pm Shift 2-3 days per week
- 8:30am to 5:00pm shift 2-3 days per week
