Coaching and Strategies for Adults with Selective Mutism and Social Anxiety
September 21 @ 10:00 am - 11:00 am
An event every week that begins at 10:00 am on Monday and Friday, repeating until September 25, 2020
Sara Naselsky, B.S. and Alexis Trakhtorchuk, B.A. will host this online treatment group for adults experiencing symptoms of selective mutism and/or social anxiety. The group will provide psychoeducation regarding the onset and symptoms of social anxiety and serve as an opportunity to learn cognitive-behavioral skills that target social and communication related fears. Exposure to social interaction is critical in the treatment of social anxiety and opportunities to engage in social activities is currently limited due to the pandemic and social distancing orders. Therefore, this group will provide the opportunity for adults to learn and practice social skills and coping strategies in a supportive environment.
These sessions are $30/session and you can choose to participate in as many as you like. Please note that ongoing support is recommended for treatment success. Click here to register now: https://fs4.formsite.com/smartcenter/5qimotvxwj/index.html
